Apparently this is really old news, but I wasn't aware of it until now, so I figured I would post it for those of you who also didn't know. I don't think Sephora sent out emails regarding this code, since many people have said that they didn't receive one.

As far as the expiration date, no one knows for sure. I've heard everything from April to June, but it's July and I used it yesterday, so obviously it still works. If you're planning an order, give it a try!
